Trichological Equipment Diagnosis Analyzer
TEDA: Trichological Equipment Diagnosis Analyzer
It is a high-tech computerised electronic device designed for professionals in the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.
What purpose was the TEDA tool designed and created for?
To collect scientific data with the aim of informing, proposing and demonstrating, independently and directly to clients, the clinical efficacy of the treatments offered by Villa Borghini.
TEDA is the latest flagship product conceived and designed by the Villa Borghini technical team – who previously developed the SPD Skin Phototype Diagnosis electronic device – which is patented worldwide.
This instrument has been tested at university and has been the subject of a prestigious publication in the International Journal of Cosmetics Science in recognition of its innovation and the highest scientific rigour.
TEDA: an idea from the engineers at Villa Borghini.
The creation of TEDA stems from the insight of the Villa Borghini technical team in identifying the operational needs of professionals in the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.
Professionals feel the need to have immediate and independent access to accurate analytical data from diagnostic tests, so that they can inform clients about their state of health and recommend the most appropriate treatments.
At a later stage, therefore, the aim was to demonstrate to the clients themselves the results achieved following the prescribed treatments, by comparing the diagnostic data from before and after.
The detailed professional functions of the TEDA are taught during the training course at VB ACADEMY (European Academy of Bio-Scientific Dermatology®), as this equipment forms the central thread of the Villa Borghini operational framework – known as the ‘criterion of modern trichology’ – in its parallelism with the ‘criterion of modern clinical medicine’ (SIAE) and integrated into the VB® Know-How System (SIAE).
The features of TEDA
The TEDA equipment can be used to carry out the following tasks:
- High-magnification camera examination to diagnose the condition of the scalp.
- Sebum measurement using a specialised test strip that quantifies sebum levels for comparison with normal reference ranges.
- pH measurement using a specialised probe to compare the result with normal reference values.
- Historical archive of consultations to monitor the client’s progress, with before-and-after photographs.
- Demonstrating to the client the actual improvement in their condition following the use of the treatment prescribed during the previous consultation.
